Cancer Recovery Programme
Improve your health, fitness and wellbeing with our cancer recovery programme through the help of Remarkable Cancer Gym.

What is the Cancer Recovery Programme?
The Cancer Recovery Programme is for survivors of prostate, bowel and breast cancer who are at least 6 weeks post treatment. We also have some further criteria participants must meet to ensure that the programme is safe for you to join.
How and When Does It Run?
The group sessions run for 12-weeks on Tuesdays 2.30–3.30pm and Fridays 1.30 –2.30pm. Before joining the programme you will have an individual consultation with one of our instructors to discuss your health history, goals and go through some assessments.
This allows us to tailor the exercises in the sessions specifically to you and to measure your progress before and after. Most sessions will be based in our private group fitness studio with circuit style exercises to improve strength, mobility, fitness, balance and general function.
We start a 12-week programme when we have enough interest, so get in touch to find out when the next one will go ahead.
Why should you join the programme?
There is strong evidence showing that exercise reduces the risk of cancer reoccurrence and improves survival rate. As well as this, regular exercise can improve quality of life, general function and reduce the risk of developing other diseases.
Our qualified trainers will ensure that the exercises are both safe and effective for you, and will mitigate common symptoms of cancer treatment.
