Adult Lessons

Whether you are learning to swim for the first time, or need to improve your technique, our adult classes cater for swimmers of all levels from absolute beginners through to long distance or open water swimmers. Our lessons are set in a relaxed, friendly environment where we can focus on developing your skills.

Group Lessons

Our group lessons are held as five week blocks, with one 30 minute lesson each week (45 minutes for advanced level) and unlimited pool access. The following group levels are available:


Perfect for adults who want to learn the essentials of swimming. Classes focus on developing water confidence and basic swim technique. This level is suitable for those who have never swum previously.

Beginner Breather

Ideal for adults who have basic swimming experience and want to work on building their confidence and skills, such as freestyle breathing.


Designed for adults who have learnt how to swim but need to improve their technique and confidence over a longer distance and in the deeper end of the pool. Swimmers should be able to swim 25/50 metres freestyle of the lap pool without a break.


Perfect for swimmers who would like to improve their technique and stamina. Swimmers should be able to swim 50/100 metres freestyle without a break.


Specialty Lessons

Private adult and abilities lessons are available if you prefer more one-on-one attention from your highly qualified swim instructor. These lessons can be arranged at a time which suits you.
