New Zealand Alpine Ski Racer
Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always loved the outdoors and following after my two older brothers always made me determined to do whatever they were able to do. So when Dad took the boys out skiing, I (aged 22 months) refused to be left sitting in the cafe, even if it meant wearing gear that was twice my size!
I indulged in a few other sports but nothing compared to Ski racing so I joined Team Hutt aged eight but have been training with Coberger Academy since 2013. I spend my NZ winters training at Coronet Peak before travelling to the Northern Hemisphere to train and compete in Europe.
Some career highlights so far are gaining 1st overall Perisher ANC GS 2015, 2nd overall and 2nd in the GS standing for ANC 2015 and 2nd overall in GS at St. Moritz 2015 scoring a PB of 32.70.
My goal for this season is to score results in Slalom and score in the 20’s for GS. This coming Northern season I am aiming to compete in the World Champs as well as World Junior Championships. Another goal is to compete at the Winter Olympics.
