High Intensity Interval-based Training
SMASH-HIIT is the answer to your weekly training plan. It's fast, it's intense and it's effective, meaning you'll get fit. Fast.
SMASH-HIIT runs every weekday at 6.15am at the Queenstown Events Centre.
Each session is 45 minutes long and we don't mess around - you're going to sweat! We'll mix up the workouts over the course of the week to keep you interested, including elements of weight training, cardio, boxing and plyometric training. Best of all, we've designed the programme so you can measure your results and we can see exactly how SMASH-HIIT is improving your physical performance.
The technical details
A typical session includes a variety of exercises and training techniques, focusing on:
- Bodyweight training
- Plyometric training
- Cardio and more.
And here's what you'll get out of SMASH-HIIT:

Training in small team environments helps to keep us motivated and push ourselves. With a supportive team, we reap the social and mental benefits from all those exercise-induced endorphins, leaving you feeling energised and positive.
Each SMASH-HIIT session is led by one of our coaches. You'll work at your own pace, but your coach will be there pushing you to enhance your personal performance.
Session times and dates
You choose how many times per week you want to attend SMASH-HIIT. For best results, we suggest two or three sessions per week. FREE Friday sessions are available to anyone who has signed up for the programme.

Each term runs for 10 weeks. Fitness testing will be held on weeks 1, 5 and 10.
Who can come and what's the price?
Anyone aged 14+ is welcome to join SMASH-HIIT, whether you're a member of Alpine Health and Fitness or not.

- Payment must be pre-paid.
- Prices are per term.
- If you start part way through a term, you'll only be charged a pro-rata payment depending on how much of the term is left.
Other Terms and Conditions
- You can choose any combination of days but must book for the entire term
- You can change which days you attend but must advice the instructors first
- Friday sessions are always free once you've signed up
- All classes will run in the Events Centre Stadium unless otherwise specified.
